I recently had a chance to take my two grandchildren (Andrew and Laila) to Marineland in St. Augustine Florida. It’s located on A1A between Palm Coast and St Augustine. It was established in 1938 and many movies were filmed there. It’s an awesome place with a good combination of education, entertainment, and lots of fun for the kids. Admission is $21.99 for adults, kids 5-11 are $14.99 and seniors are $20.99 (55+). Kids 4 and under get in free. The dolphin swim adventure is an opportunity to interact and swim with the dolphins. It was my daughter’s birthday so for her birthday I paid for her and the grandchildren to swim with the dolphins. This includes admission so the adult ticket was $149, and the kids were $129. I liked it because it was an opportunity for them to interact with the dolphins like the trainers do. Everyone got a chance to touch and play with the dolphins. The dolphins did tricks, waved, splashed and put on a great show. The end of the dolphin swim adventure allowed everyone a turn to hold on to their pectoral flippers and have the dolphin swim you back to the trainer. There were turtle exhibits, sharks, and other interesting things to see. Marineland is located on the ocean and when you finish a beautiful beach is right there. The grandchildren will always remember their swim with the dolphins and time at Marineland.
