Palm Coast is holding its 6th annual Strawberry Festival on March 11th and 12th. It’s being held from 10 AM to 5 PM in Town Center Central Park, Palm Coast. This is a great opportunity to bring the kids and have a fun day. I promise they have something for everyone. The kids will be super busy with face painting, a bounce house, pony rides, a petting farm, and arts, plus crafts. As a parent, and now a grandparent I know the secret to keeping kids occupied is to keep them busy. You can leave the Game Boy, Tablet, and cell phone at home as this is good old-fashioned fun. Admission is $6 and kids under 2 are free.
I better mention the food for all the folks who love strawberries. I think they’ll have strawberries in just about every recipe you can think of and more. You’ll find me at wherever the strawberry pie is being served. A short list of foods made with strawberries you’ll find are jelly, jams, fudge, lemonade, pie, shortcake, and a strawberry wine slush mix. If you love strawberries in their natural state or incorporated into something you need to attend.
If you’re athletically inclined, you can enter the hula hoop contest. Live entertainment will be providing the music. I hope to see you at the Strawberry Festival.
