Bunnell

Bunnell is the county seat of Flagler County. It was named after an early resident Alvah Bunnell a shingle maker and supplier of wood to the area’s fledgling rail industry. Bunnell is located in central Flagler County and the city has a total area of 138 square miles. Downtown Bunnell is mostly older buildings and homes. They have a very popular restaurant I frequent named Bantam. It’s home to their famous fish sandwich which is the largest I’ve ever seen. There are many other great restaurants, and all are very affordable. If you’re looking for wide open spaces Bunnell is the place for you. You’ll find many farms and cattle ranches. Land can be had at very affordable prices compared to the surrounding cities. Homes are also priced lower than comparable homes in Palm Coast.
